What we think
What we did last weekend – Grayson Perry at the Serpentine
Last weekend Xanthe caught the last day of Grayson Perry’s show at the Serpentine…
We made it in for (literally) the final hour of the exhibition. The show’s been notoriously well attended but I was impressed with how well managed it was by Serpentine staff. They even put up with my toddler nephew and niece who kept trying to touch the artworks – the ultimate test of professionalism.
We all enjoyed every moment of our visit. The kids – rather typically – tried to read every word on each piece, working out why it’s there and what it might mean. The show was brilliant, but for me and two-headed piggy bank (which took all our change) was the thought-provoking highlight.
